Founded in 1982, ACTHA is an Illinois organization, focused on providing relevant education and information to board members and unit owners of community associations specifically in Illinois. ACTHA has earned a reputation of providing nuts and bolts information for those living in community associations. ACTHA is the only statewide organization run by unit owners who reside in their association and whose association is a member in good-standing with ACTHA.

Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent, harmonious community associations. For nearly 40 years, CAI has been the leader in providing education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern community associations and the professionals who support them. Members include community association volunteer leaders, professional managers, community management firms and other professionals and companies that provide products and services to associations.

The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has been the source for education, resources, information, and membership for real estate management professionals for more than 75 years. An affiliate of the National Association of Realtors�, IREM is the only professional real estate management association serving both the multi-family and commercial real estate sectors.

IREM promotes ethical real estate management practices through its credentialed membership programs, including the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, the Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification, the Accredited Commercial Manager (ACOM) certification, and the Accredited Management Organization (AMO) accreditation.
